The Washington Community Schools would like to pay tribute and THANK our 4 teachers that have retired after the 2009/ 2010 school year.  It is through their hard work and dedication that our students have succeeded in education.  Retirees include: Peggy Basinger, Sharyl Frogge, Rebecca Harman and Robert Youngquist.

Our sincere appreciation and gratitude goes out to each and every one of you!  Thank you!

2010-2011 New Family Registration Day

Washington Community Schools will hold a registration day on Tuesday August 10, 2008 for families that are new to the district. Each building will be open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with guidance counselors available, to assist new families in the registration process. Registration packets will be available to complete in each building. New families will need to register each student at the individual buildings but can pay at any school. Student registration for families currently in the district will be done again by mail-in this year.

Washington Schools Receive Over $92,000 In Grants! PDF Print E-mail

On Wednesday June 16th, 2010 Washington Community Schools was awarded 3 grants from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation totaling over $92,000! The District received $42,097 for the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) Student Enrichment Opportunites grant, $30,000 to media-enable more classrooms throughout the schools, and $20,000 to help install a new high-speed wireless network this summer!
